Another Haveli worth visiting is Nathmal Ji ki Haveli where you can witness the continuity in design. Another major Haveli is Salim Ji ki haveli which was built in 1815 and is famous for its unique architecture based on the Peacock.
Jaisalmer Fort
This fort was built by Rawal Jaisal in the 12th century and is also known as "Sonar Quila". It is made of golden yellow sandstone and stands on Trikuta Hill with many Havelis and a group of Jain temples.
Sam Sand Dunes
Sam sand dunes are a major attraction to the tourists which lie in the outskirts of Jaisalmer. One can enjoy visiting these sand dunes on camel back which is the best way of visiting the place. Amidst these sand dunes, The Desert festival is celebrated in the month of February and March.
